Worshipping together on a Sunday is the heart and highlight of our week. It is where we learn more about God and grow together in love for Him and for each other. You can expect a very warm welcome at all our services, whichever one is the best fit for you.
Service times
All Saints, Hordle
-
9.30am Traditional Service - Every Sunday, with a service of Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
This service offers a quieter and more traditional time of Sunday worship. Music is led by the organ or piano and includes traditional hymns and more contemplative worship songs. The service lasts around an hour.
-
10.30am Contemporary Service - Every Sunday, with a service of Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of the month.
This weekly service, held in the Memorial Hall beside the church, is family focused with a more informal style and with music led by the worship band. Children’s groups are available while the talk is given and once a month we hold All Age Worship, where the children are encouraged to be involved in the service. The service lasts around 1hr 15mins.
Tea and coffee are served after both morning services, offering a chance to stay and get to know one another better.
-
6.00pm Contemporary Evening Service - 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
This service take place in the Memorial Hall, next to All Saints' church. A much simpler format than the morning services, we begin with a time of sung worship in a contemporary, band-led style, followed by a time of prayer and reflection on the Scriptures, before closing with more worship in song. Refreshments are available from 5:30pm until the end of service, which is around 1hr 15mins.
St Andrew’s, Tiptoe
-
10.00am - Every Sunday, with a service of Holy Communion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
St Andrew’s offers a weekly traditional Anglican service, focused on the preaching of God's word in a traditional setting. Tea and coffee is offered after the service, which is usually around an hour.
5th Sundays
When there is a 5th Sunday in the month, it is our usual pattern to meet for a combined United Parish Service, with a single service in the parish alternating location through the year between All Saints and St Andrews churches. For details of what is happening where on a given Sunday, please see the latest information on our website - by clicking the links below - on Facebook, in the newsletter, or by contacting church.office@hordleandtiptoechurch.org.uk.

Online Services
In March 2020, as the country went into lockdown, we began producing our online service and were so thankful for how God worked to bring us all together virtually. We continue to offer online worship by recording services each week, which can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
