Services

Following the Prime Minister's announcement on Saturday 31st October, our churches at Hordle and Tiptoe will be closed for services until the 2 December 2020.

We will continue to provide an on-line service each week - click here to view all our latest on-line services.

RESTRICTED SERVICES  -  BOOKING REQUIRED

REMEMBRANCE SERVICES

Due to latest Coronavirus restrictions (31st October), our Remembrance Day Service will now be on-line only.

ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS 2020

Due to Coronavirus restrictions, our Advent and Christmas services will look very different this year. In order to maintain social distancing, it will be necessary to restrict the number of people attending so that we do not end up with an unmanageable crowd.

Therefore, we are introducing a telephone booking system for the following services:

29 Nov 2020 10.00am  Advent Service of Light, St. Andrew’s Tiptoe

6 Dec 2020 10.15am  Christingle Service, All Saints’ Hordle

13 Dec 2020 10.15am  Nativity Service, All Saints’ Hordle

20 Dec 2020 10.00am  Carol Service, St. Andrew’s Tiptoe

20 Dec 2020 10.15am  Carol Service, All Saints’ Hordle

20 Dec 2020   3.00pm  Carol Service, St. Andrew’s Tiptoe

20 Dec 2020   6.30pm  Carol Service, All Saints’ Hordle

24 Dec 2020   4.00pm  Crib Service, All Saints’ Church Hall Hordle

25 Dec 2020 10.15am  Christmas Service + Communion after, All Saints’ Hordle

25 Dec 2020 10.00am  Christmas Communion, St. Andrew’s Tiptoe

The Church Office will allocate places on a first-come-first-served basis. The phone line for bookings (01425 626565) will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am - 12 noon, from Tues 3rd Nov up to and including Tues 15th December 2020.

Please do not leave messages on the answerphone for bookings, as they may not be picked up in the correct order.

Places can also be booked in person at the Hordle Church office during ordinary office opening hours (9.30 – 12, Mon – Fri) from Tues 3rd Nov to Tues 15th Dec.

Callers can book for up to 6 people at any service. We will need to check whether people are coming as a family/bubble and can therefore sit together or in separate groups, so we can allocate seats accordingly.

In order to give everyone a chance to attend at least some Christmas services, you may only book for 3 services at a time. There will be an online service for each service day.

Seats for those taking/leading/contributing to services do not need to be booked as their seats are already reserved.

If you are not able to attend a service you have booked, please advise the Church Office so the seat can be allocated to someone else.

Please remember that face coverings must be worn on entry and exit, and throughout each service, unless you have an exemption.
